Volunteers

This year, we were delighted to welcome many new volunteers to the Haven family. They, along with our long-time volunteers, have made it possible for us to continue serving the increasing number of families and individuals that every week seek the Haven’s help. We also had the privilege of hosting our first Volunteer Christmas Gathering since 2019. This was a fabulous night full of good food, laughter and friendship. The deserts contest revealed some very talented bakers among our volunteers and gave us the pleasure of finishing the night with a delicious, sweet note.

At the gathering we also celebrated the 20th anniversary of our Hope with Wheels program and the volunteers that every week, rain or shine, provide our friends experiencing homelessness with a hot meal and encouraging words.

Thank you all for your commitment, kindness and compassion! You are amazing! Merry Christmas to all of you and your families!
